It was just a nice choice for a swift visit in Baton Rouge with good value for cost. The room had a much better smell on my second stay. Always ask for extra towels as they can be hard to come by.

Unexpectedly delightful breakfast experience

Waking up to Ms. Leslie's warm smile and the aroma of freshly cooked breakfast made our mornings a delight. The variety was a pleasant surprise.

However, the bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired, with scuff marks on the tiles and an exhaust fan cover that looked like it had seen better days.

The young lady was nice when we checked in and she

tried to be as helpful as she could be after I reported our room's poor condition. She provided clean linen and towels, which was appreciated. However, the room itself was absolutely filthy upon arrival, detracting significantly from our stay.

Additionally, maintenance appears neglected, impacting the overall experience.

I had a lovely stay at Sonesta Essential, Baton Rouge Airport. The staff were attentive, quickly assisting me and providing helpful recommendations for local attractions, which made my trip enjoyable and stress-free.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was quite spacious and offered a nice amount of comfort during my stay. The extra bedding was a pleasant touch that made the night feel cozier. I appreciated the great lighting in the room which made it feel welcoming.

However, the breakfast options were quite limited, lacking variety and making it hard to find something enjoyable.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Mrs Johnson did an excellent job on breakfast, ensuring all guests were satisfied and making our mornings enjoyable with her courteous service.

A Mixed Experience with Room Changes

After being moved three times, I finally settled into a cleaner room that smelled much better. The lingering issues with the carpets were disappointing. On a positive note, the staff was attentive and helpful, which made the frustrating experience a bit easier to handle. Bring your own air freshener!
